How do I book a move with you?
Do you offer interim storage?
Yes, if required, we can organize secure interim storage during the moving process.
The earlier you book, the more time we have for organization and planning.
We recommend booking at least 4 weeks in advance, especially for interna onal moves.
How far in advance should I book?
We plan everything from transport to customs clearance to delivery at the destination.
How does an international move work?
The lead time for setting up a no-parking zone in Switzerland varies depending on the municipality or canton. As a rule, you should expect at least 7 to 14 days, as permits must be obtained in good time and signs must be put up accordingly. It is advisable to discuss this with the responsible authority or your moving company at an early stage to avoid delays.
How much lead time does it take to set up a no-parking zone?
The Move Swiss Group's business and liability insurance is covered up to CHF 100,000.00, while the transport insurance coverage is CHF 5,000,000.00.

Yes, we also transport safes, grand pianos, works of art and the like.
Do you also transport special goods?
Yes, both furniture lifts and ladder lifts.
Do you also offer lift systems?
If required, we will be happy to provide you with various packaging materials; all types of cardboard, sturdy plastic boxes, covers, foil, paper, adhesive tape and much more.
Will packaging material be provided to me?
Of course. Our professional and trained furniture fitters are particularly specialized in this type of work.
Is assembly and disassembly offered?
Yes, both. Regarding the cleaning work, we also offer you so-called post-construction cleaning if required.
Is final cleaning and disposal offered?
The schedule depends on various factors. As soon as you know which services you need for your move, you should start planning. So that we as a service provider can also realize your desired date, we generally advise you to contact us as early as possible - ideally at least 4 weeks before the move. For international or business moves, it is advisable to start planning earlier, as the effort is usually much greater.
When should planning for a private move begin?
This question can never be answered in general terms. The more information we have - for example, through a detailed inventory list of the items to be moved - the more accurately we can estimate the time involved. National private or business moves usually never take longer than a day, but as mentioned, this depends on many factors.
How long does the entire moving process take?
Yes, we offer both the viewing and the consultation and quotation free of charge and without obligation.
Is the viewing and quotation free of charge?
Yes, we work 365 days a year. Our office hours are fixed, but if you move on a public holiday you will still be assigned a mobile contact person. However, you should be aware that moving on a Sunday or public holiday inevitably involves restrictions. For example, there is a driving ban on trucks (over 3.5 tonnes) on such days, which limits the choice of moving vehicles.
