Privacy Policy of Move Swiss Group

These guidelines provide information on how confidential and personal data is handled by Move Swiss Group. They detail which information is collected and for what purpose it is used. Additionally, they outline the rights and options available to individuals regarding their personal data.

Purposes of Data Processing

The present provisions serve only to inform our customers, employees, partners, and suppliers with whom we maintain business relationships.

Personal data refers to information about a specific, identifiable person, including but not limited to: name, address, email address, telephone number, date of birth, identification number (e.g., social security number and/or registration number, etc.), documents such as an ID card or driver’s license, etc.

The collection, storage, processing, or transmission of personal data is carried out exclusively for the purpose of executing Move Swiss Group’s services. The transfer of personal data to third parties only occurs to provide specific and contractually agreed-upon services, as well as any additional services requested by the customer. Move Swiss Group will not use or share personal data for any other purposes. The only exception is a legitimate request from authorities.

The necessary customer information is collected as part of an agreed service by phone, email, IT applications, or postal mail.

Use of Data

The data required to perform a service is collected either directly from the individual or the customer placing the order. The customer agrees to the collection, processing, and transfer of relevant personal data to provide the requested services.

To carry out an international move, information must be shared with partners in other countries. The data is stored in Move Swiss Group’s own databases and other systems and can be processed and accessed during the moving process. Data is only shared with third parties when necessary to fulfill the ordered services.

Information may also be transmitted to government bodies or authorities in departure and destination countries, where data protection regulations may differ from the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSGVO).

Archiving and Disposal

Data is generally archived for 10 years and then securely disposed of. Access to systems and electronic documents is restricted through login credentials and password control.

If you revoke your consent to data processing, your data will be immediately deleted unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data (e.g., tax or commercial retention obligations).

Data Protection

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your stored personal data from manipulation, partial or complete loss, and unauthorized access by third parties (e.g., through encrypted data transmission, access controls, etc.).

We continuously improve our security measures and take precautions to better protect your data. However, the transmission of information via the internet and other electronic media is always associated with security risks, meaning we cannot guarantee the absolute security of transmitted information.

Personal Rights

All our customers have the right to request corrections to their personal data at any time if an error occurs or if changes are necessary.

Upon written request, Move Swiss Group will provide customers with access to information about where their personal data is stored. Customers may request that their private information be used only in a limited manner or be deleted after the completion of services, provided the data is not part of a business record subject to retention obligations.
